Me Monday: Girl’s weekend!

This past weekend was a super fun girl’s weekend! The boys were away at a bachelor party, so us girls got to do what we do best…decorate, shop, drink wine and get our nails done!

Here’s a progress picture of a top secret project that I’m working on…I' promise to tell you all about it in time! Just not yet…

I totally splurged on a new outfit and found this gorgeous teal dress and camel wedges at Nordstrom…LOVE!

Enjoyed a couple glasses of wine, mac n’ cheese and a cheese plate at our new favorite restaurant and wine bar – Chase’s in La Verne. So cute!

Spent Saturday night in Hollywood with my girl, Colleen. We had the best sushi at Katana, sipped a couple cocktails at the Bazaar at SLS and ended the night poolside at the Roosevelt. Super fun night! We even had a “driver” (teenager who we pay cash by the hour!).

I ended the weekend with a relaxing pedicure and manicure. I have some seriously long toes!

TGIF people! This has been a long week! I’m so happy it’s Friday and the weekend is here. I plan to spend some much needed time catching up with the ladies and takin’ it easy!

Hanging out, soaking up some sun, reading magazines, drinking wine, doing a little shopping, grabbing yummy bites to eat…I SO excited!

I wish you all the most fun weekend! Enjoy these last summer days while you can! Labor Day is right around the corner! Happy Friday and I’ll see you next week!

Upland Interior Design by Imagine: Somerset

Before this young family moved into their new, larger home, they wanted to update and freshen the "shabby chic" look left by the previous owners. We started by painting every room in the house and complimenting them with a high gloss black trim. All finishes and surfaces, including floors, walls and ceilings, were replaced to achieve a mix of traditional and modern. Kitchen appliances, countertops, backsplash, hardware, lighting, wallpaper and furnishings throughout the home to follow.

La Verne Interior Design by Imagine: Del Prado

After moving into this 4,500 square foot house, this young family was eager to make it their own. We started here in the formal living room by using some of the home owners favorite colors, accessorizing with modern accents and selecting fun, fresh furniture in an unexpected color. Additional accessories, accent furniture pieces and window coverings to follow.

San Dimas Interior Design by Imagine: Walnut BEFORE

After a fire damaged a large part of their home, this couple called me to help give them a new, fresh and updated look while they remodeled their 6,500 square foot house. We started on the third level, which is where they spend most of their time. The rooms that needed help were the kitchen, family room, dining room, living room, office, two bedrooms, a bathroom, master bedroom and master bathroom. The second phase of the design project will include the second level of their home which consists of a movie theater room, media room and game room.

Wednesday Weekend Warm Up: Apple and Ginger Martini Recipe

It’s a girl’s just wanna have fun weekend! And us girls like our martinis! The dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, but this weekend we’re mixing up something a bit sweeter – Apple Martinis! I love not only the gorgeous green color of this concoction, but I love the sweet and sour taste! Bottoms up!

Apple & Ginger Martini

Ingredients
0.75 oz. Stirrings Apple Liqueur
0.25 oz. Stirrings Ginger Liqueur
1 oz. Crown Royal XR
0.5 oz. fresh lime juice

Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake well and strain into a well chilled martini glass. Garnish with lime.

La Verne Interior Design By Imagine: Canyon Crest

These home owners couldn't wait to give their new home a warm, earthy and natural vibe! We basically started with a big white box. A warm color palette, custom cabinetry, black out drapes, reupholstered antique family heirlooms, new tile flooring and carpet all work together to give them what they wanted. In the kitchen, the cabinets were stained and a new backsplash and appliances were installed. In the master bath, the cabinets were stained, while new flooring, tub, shower, tile and lighting were installed to create a zen-like atmosphere.
