Smile…it’s a (hodge-podge) kind of weekend!

TGIF!

     

What’s on the agenda for your weekend? Mine is filled with this + that…nothing too exciting. Today I’m taking more pictures of the after product of one of my favorite client’s home. Then I’ll be working on editing all the photos throughout the weekend. I get to have my hair done today! So excited to get rid of these roots.

 

Nick and I will be busy showing houses tomorrow and holding a couple open houses on Sunday. Time to get working and selling some casas! We’re holding them here, here and here if you’re interested.

 

We also have a surprise birthday party…I can’t say much because I may give it away, but it’s being thrown at a new restaurant/lounge I’ve been dying to get to, so that’ll be cool. And then I’m packing my bags to meet my sweet friend, Ash in Vegas for Market next week!

Wedding Wednesday

Hey there! So, I’m kind of bored with the Wednesday Weekend Warm Up series, so I’ve been tossing around ideas for a new Wednesday series. Since I’m getting MARRIED (!!!) I thought maybe a Wedding Wednesday series might be fun… but I’m not sure what to blog about… ha! I’ve been thinking about posting a wedding idea that I’m thinking about for my wedding and asking your thoughts, but I’m just not sure. Let me know what you think!

Tuesday Thoughts {a quote + a pretty space}

 

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you’re off to a great week. It’s been raining and cold here in southern California so far this week. But I’m not complaining because it’s given me a chance to catch up on emails and paperwork. It’s been really nice just sitting at my desk, working on computer projects and listening to Pandora.

Isn’t this styling so quaint? First, I LOVE the colors – white, grey and natural wood. So pretty. I’m getting ready to shoot some of my interior projects that I completed last year, so I’ve been looking through my Pinterest design files for inspiration. I’ve been waiting for some sunshine for good lighting. I’ve also been looking at tutorials online for taking good interior shots. Do any of you have any tips? We got a new camera a few months ago…a Canon EOS Rebel T2i and I really have no idea how to use it, other than the auto setting!

Smile…it’s a (celebration of a million birthdays) kind of weekend!

Hello Friday! Yay! It’s almost the weekend. We have a LOT of birthday celebrations this weekend, which I love because it’s a guaranteed good time and way of spending time with family and friends. Tonight, we’re celebrating my future brother in law’s (wow!!!!!) birthday in the OC on a party bus.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and stay warm! It’s been quite chilly here in southern CA and I imagine if it’s cold here, the rest of you are freezing! So bundle up, pour some hot totties and have a great weekend!

Tuesday Thoughts {a quote + a pretty game room}

 

Happy Tuesday! Now, these two images are a bit of a contrast…the one of the left being cutesy and girlie and the one on the right portraying deep masculinity and moodiness (hence the art!), but the colors match and I LOVE that room so I paired them together anyway.

I can’t get enough of that wood herringbone floor, the greyish blue on the walls including all the moldings and that black pool table with a grey felt top! This is totally perfect for a sophisticated bachelor!

Makeover Monday: Decorate your home in black and white

As I was scrolling through my design files this weekend, I took note of how many images I’m drawn to that are host to black and white interiors. I’ve decided that my next home will be decked out in a black and white color palette, with touches of raw wood (this could quite possible change within the next month or so, but as of late, I’m totally digging this look!).

Smile…(it’s a hangin’ out with the girls) kind of weekend!

Hey there! It’s Friday! And I’m so excited to just be at home this weekend and relax in our backyard with a few girlfriends!

Ever since we got back from Vegas and announced our engagement, it’s been go, go, go! Which I love…I thrive on staying busy, but every once in a while, a girl needs a break! So that’s what I plan on doing this weekend. Enjoying the sunshine, having some cocktails with the ladies and flipping through some of my new bridal magazines!
